Milk Protein Concentrate is a concentrated protein obtained from milk. It is used as a food ingredient to increase milk protein in various products, replace protein lost during processing, and improve yield in cheese production.

Milk Protein Concentrate is produced by separating and concentrating the protein fraction of milk. It retains both major milk-protein components—casein and whey protein—in proportions close to those found naturally in milk. Production begins by removing cream from milk to obtain low-fat skim milk. The skim milk is then passed through a membrane system that separates and concentrates the proteins, producing Milk Protein Concentrate (MPC).
